Cynthia Morse, MSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
We are witnesses to an ever changing culture. Not only is crime rising, so is depression, anxiety, self-hatred, self-harm, trauma, stress, anger and addiction. Addictions to alcohol and drugs have been addressed for many years, but sexual addiction is stepping to the forefront in daily news headlines. We are all impacted directly or indirectly by the explicit content of the internet. As a result there is an increase in objectifying, masturbation, loneliness, compulsivity, and emotional detachment.
With compassion and an honest approach, Cynthia works with couples and individuals to bring hope and encouragement. Using a faith-based approach, she blends the truth of Christian principles with therapeutic practice strategies. Cynthia is dedicated to helping individuals, couples and families face their challenges. Cynthia has special training as a Sexual Addiction Therapist.
Therapy can assist with the healing process and transition from victim to survivor. Therapy can assist parents with tips on how to teach children to have their own internal moral compass. Couples can reconnect mentally and emotionally using daily communication exercises.
Taking responsibility by asking for help is the first healthy step to recovery.
