Dr. Chris Cornine holds a BA in psychology, an MS in Counseling  Psychology, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Missouri and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of Illinois. He has a wide range of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Areas of focus include behavioral addictions, parenting and behavior management, and couple/family counseling, as well as treating depression, anxiety disorders such as OCD, and trauma in adults and children. Dr. Cornine is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Dr. Cornine is also an Assistant Professor of Counseling at  Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and holds memberships in the American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Association of Psychological Studies and the Missouri Mental Health Counselors Association. He serves as Clinical Director of Diakonos Counseling.
